This fully assembled mini PIR movement sensor detector module offers automatic control and repeat triggering when movement is detected. On-time duration is factory set at 8 seconds (+/-30%).
When triggered, the output goes high and will remain high after the on-time period has elapsed if the sensor is still detecting movement. The output will remain on until no movement is detected during the delay countdown
The sensor uses passive infrared (PIR) technology. If offers high sensitivity, ultra-low voltage mode and high reliability. It is ideal for use in security products, alarm systems, lighting control, industrial automation, toys, etc.
To control higher loads, the output can be used to drive the input of our 3044 Logic Activated Relay Board (select the version that matches the supply voltage used to power the PIR).
