Regulated 24Vdc 0.6A power supply board with L7824 voltage regulator.
The L7824 regulator can provide up to 1A load current and features on-chip protection circuitry that shuts the chip down in the event of over heating or excessive current. The heatsink supplied allows a maximum load of 600mA to be connected.
The input voltage can be unregulated AC (26V max) or DC (35V max) and should around 3Vdc above the output voltage for proper operation.
The board comprises an L7824 voltage regulator with heatsink, bridge rectifier, input and output smoothing capacitors and screw terminal block connectors. It is suitable for a range of applications where a smoothed and regulated 24Vdc output of up to 0.6A is required.
Product selection advice: The larger the input/output voltage difference, the smaller the output current. If the regulator overheats, then a larger heatsink will be required (not included).
