12Vdc powered 0.1 to 240 Second 'Disconnection' or 'Turn-Off' or 'Instant-On and Hold, Delayed-Off' timer module with a mains rated relay output.
Timer is activated by the Start input (using for example a push button or relay contact closure). When activated, the relay turns on but the user-set delay countdown does NOT commence. This state is maintained while the trigger signal is present. Loss of trigger signal starts the delay countdown. Relay releases at end of delay period and timer returns to it's waiting state.
If a fresh Start input is received at any point during the delay countdown, the relay will remain held on for as long as the trigger input is present. On loss of the Start input, the delay period recommences for the full time period set at the end of which the relay turns off. The unit then resets, ready for a fresh Start input.
The delay period is adjustable using the time scale switch and onboard potentiometer.
An LED indicates that the timer is in operation. The board is reverse polarity protected.
