This well designed 25W per channel stereo power amplifier can be used to boost the output of an existing lower power stereo amplifier. The input should be in the region of 1 to 5 Watts with 2W output being the ideal level.
It can be connected directly to the output of car stereo system, cassette or CD player, radio or other stereo amplifier whose output you wish to boost.
The circuit uses two TDA1515 monolithic integrated class-B output amplifier ICs, one per channel, connected in a BTL configuration to deliver twice the output power. Additional circuitry is used to adjust the frequency response and ensure stable operation under a wide range of operating conditions. Two heatsinks are included.
