Tone controls provide an essential element in any sound system and enables you to control the frequency response to suit any environment.

This circuit is a low distortion active TONE CONTROL stage based on a classic BAXANDALL circuit and a simple single stage preamplifier. It can be used with any amplifier and head preamplifier from and despite its apparent simplicity its performance will impress.

Used with kit 1023 & 1024KT above it can form the basic building block of Hi-Fi STEREO preamplifier. Solder supplied.
