This pre-assembled module allows you to record and re-record a single message of up to 30 seconds duration using the on-board microphone. You can then repeatedly replay the message using a switch (not included) connected to the Play input. Two modes of operation can be selected for the Play input:
A similar choice of modes can be selected for the Record input.
In addition, there is a Repeat switch to select one of these two modes (they operate the same in both the Play modes detailed above):
Message is digitally stored in non-volatile memory and is retained if power is removed.
The board needs a 12Vdc supply and is reverse polarity protected. Screw terminal blocks for all connections.
N.B. Output will drive a small 8 Ohm speaker only (it is not suitable for any other impedance speaker or connection to an external audio amplifier).
