Reversible DC motor speed controller using a single potentiometer to control both speed and direction (forward / reverse). Suitable for 12V single-phase, universal DC motors drawing a continuous load of up to 0.6 Amps.
Circuit uses H-Bridge topology based around an L293DNE driver IC.
Board can be used with the onboard potentiometer or an external potentiometer of your choice (not included). An Enable On / Off input is also included.
PRODUCT SELECTION NOTES: This module can be used to control other resistive loads like DC lighting but is NOT suitable for use with inductive loads like neon's, halogen lamps, transformers, etc,.. The motor controller should have an output load capacity at least 25% above the motors peak power requirement. Please do NOT rely on motor rating plates for power consumption figures as they often quote average not peak power. You should verify the actual peak power at start-up and under full load before selecting an appropriate size motor controller.Specifications
