This external potentiometer operated DC motor speed controller uses a PWM triac output and allows you to adjust the speed of single-phase, universal DC motors with 8 - 30V dc supply and an operating load of up to 8 Amps.
Motor speed adjustment range is from 0 to 100% and is achieved using an external 10K linear potentiometer (not included - see table below).

PRODUCT SELECTION NOTES: This module can be used to control DC resistive loads like lights, machinery pedals, universal motors, control automation, modelling, etc. It is NOT suitable for use with inductive loads like neon's, halogen lamps, transformers, etc. The motor controller should have an output load capacity at least 25% above the motors peak power requirement. Please do NOT rely on motor rating plates for power consumption figures as they often quote average not peak power. You should verify the actual peak power at start-up and under full load before selecting an appropriate size motor controller.
