12Vdc Light / Dark Activated Relay Module

12Vdc light or dark activated detector module with adjustable sensitivity and mains rated relay output.

The relay is activated when the light level falling on the detector board reaches the desired threshold. The relay is deactivated when the light level increases again.

• Dark Mode: Automatically turn on electric lights or security devices, etc. when light falls below preset level
• Light Mode: Automatically turn on electrical devices when ambient light level rises above preset level

N.B. This board is best suited to applications where the change in light level is large and the transition quick e.g. to activate a music box when the lid is opened. It is not recommended for dusk/dawn transitions due to potential for relay chatter at the cusp of changeover (see our 3079B board instead).
