New improved DIN-Rail size version with wider time range and easier setting.

12Vdc powered 8 second to 45 minute delay timer module with mains rated relay output. When activated the relay turns on for the user-set time period.

Timer is activated by the Start input (using for example a push button or relay contact closure). The timing cycle is non-retriggerable and will be completed regardless of further Start inputs or if the Start input remains closed after activation. A new timing cycle can only commence once the current timing cycle has finished.

An optional INSTANT-ON mode disables the trigger input. In this mode, the the relay turns on and the delay countdown commences immediately power is applied to the board. The relay turns off when the user-set time period has elapsed. Power must be removed and reapplied for a fresh countdown to commence. Instant-On mode is set using a header jumper not included (Order Code JUMPER-RED).

The delay period is adjustable from 8 seconds to 45 minutes using the onboard potentiometer (header pins allow the use of user-supplied external potentiometers if required).

The new version has a switch for selecting one of two delay ranges, 8 seconds to 4 minutes or 2 to 45 minutes, giving more precise and easier time setting.

An LED indicates that the timer is in operation. The board is reverse polarity protected.

A mains powered version of this board is available (Order Code CI102).
