Low cost micro-controller based 4 digit presettable LED down counter with four operating modes that control how the output behaves when count reaches zero. Suitable for low to high speed applications (30 to 4100cps). Ideal for process control and counting applications.
Accepts inputs from any make contact so can be used with switches, relay contacts, open collectors outputs or push buttons.
Two onboard push buttons (SET and INC) are used to set the operating mode and starting count.
Inputs for Count, Rate (debounce) and Reset (to preset value). Output is an open collector transistor (NPN, 100mA @30V). This can be used to trigger, for example, our 3156 relay board or the 3141 delay timer board.

Count, Reset, Rate, Output and Power In are brought out to a 10-way header for easy connection. The board has Power-In reverse polarity protection.Specifications
