4 Digit Simple LED Coin Mech Timer (1 Minute Increments)

Up to 9,999 minute 4-digit simple LED coin mechanism timer with open collector output. The stopped board displays the amount of minutes currently in credit. Running timer shows whole minutes credit remaining and the end decimal point flashes every second to indicate countdown is in progress.

Each time the STOP input is closed the countdown time credit increases by 1 minute (both when the timer is stopped or already counting down).

START input starts the countdown and the open collector output turns on. On timeout the output turns off and the the display and countdown time resets to zero.

Only 2 LED digits light when countdown time is less then 100. The other digits become active if count increases above 99 and 999.

A hardware RESET input allows the timer to be manually stopped and reset to zero. Current countdown time is stored in volatile memory so will be lost in the event of a power outage.

The board has an active low open collector transistor output (NPN 100mA, 30V max.). This can be used to drive a buzzer, relay, our AS8043-12, 3156 relay board or 3141 delay timer board.

Connections: DC IN, RESET, OUTPUT, STOP and START are brought out to a 10-way header strip for easy connection. START and STOP buttons are also provided on the board.
