Connect up to 25Vac or 35Vdc to the input using on-board jack socket or terminal block from, for example, an AC transformer or unregulated DC power supply (not included). The DC input voltage needs to be 2-3V above the required output voltage for proper operation and with a current rating sufficient for the current to be drawn which is a maximum of 1.5A.
The circuit is designed around the popular three pin LM317T voltage regulator in a TO220 package.
The kit is supplied with a heatsink, 2A bridge rectifier, smoothing capacitors, potentiometer, PCB mounted ON/OFF switch, input/output screw terminal blocks and a 2.5mm input jack socket.
This kit is not suitable for use as a DC Motor Speed Controller.Specifications
