Turn on and off electrical devices using almost any standard household infrared remote control unit (e.g. TV, video, satellite, hi-fi, etc).
Push any button on the remote control and the onboard relay will turn on. Push any button a few seconds or hours later and the relay will toggle off.
N.B. The board simply detects the infrared output from the remote control so it will operate when any button is pressed. It cannot be coded to work with a specific button. The MK161 (2-Channel IR Remote Receiver) offers a more sophisticated alternative to this product.
